It took me years to find legitimate work at home jobs. It took more years to weed out the good from the bad jobs. And now, as I embark on a journey of student teaching, I worry that I will not have time to work at all- not even from home. I can't imagine a day going by where I am not working on the computer, applying for a job or two, and chatting with a friend at the same time. But I will welcome this new journey just like I welcome everything else that I want or have thrown at me.
I hope to come out of this teaching experience successfully, and use my knowledge and connections to re-create the tutoring company that I was once so excited about starting.
What I suppose I will do is consider the next couple of months as research...an in depth exploration of what I can do with my education and experience.
I hope my telecommuting jobs will be here waiting for me when I come out of the student teaching journey. And looking further down the road- I truly hope that someday I will be doing the hiring for a nervous college student who is looking for a telecommuting position.
Life is full or great prospects. Exciting opportunities. Tons of surprises. I just have to be willing to let life happen- embrace it!
